📍 Territory Focus: Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami
Sun State International Trucks is currently seeking a driven and experienced Bus Sales Professional to serve our growing customer base in South Florida. This role focuses on new and used bus sales with an emphasis on building lasting customer relationships and consistently closing deals. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in vehicle sales and a willingness to travel throughout the tri-county area.
🔧 Outside Bus Sales Job Responsibilities
Identify and engage potential clients to improve sales performance
Meet and exceed sales goals for new and used buses
Manage each sale from quote to delivery, ensuring cost, quality, and specs are aligned
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
Make outbound sales calls and personal visits within assigned territory
Address customer requests professionally and promptly
Stay up to date on vendor products, promotions, and market trends
Travel throughout Florida (minimum of 25% of the time; both short and extended business trips)
📋 Outside Bus Sales Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum 2 years of sales experience in buses, trucks (preferably International), automotive, or related industries
Knowledge of bus and/or heavy-duty truck specifications for accurate sales quoting
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
💪 Physical Requirements
Sedentary to light physical activity
Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs
Manual dexterity and visual acuity required
Indoor office environment with adequate lighting, heating, and ventilation
