Company Description
Exer Urgent Care, is an innovative healthcare provider, with 24 locations and growing in Ventura and Los Angeles counties, focused on transforming how patients receive immediate, same day care. Staffed exclusively by ER physicians, each Exer facility has on-site X-Ray, IV, lab, splinting, laceration and offers more comprehensive medical services than a traditional walk-in urgent care…all for the cost of an office visit copay. Role Summary
The Business Data Analyst will perform routine business analysis using various techniques, e.g. statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining. They will research best practices and support developing the solutions and recommendations for current business operations. The Business Data Analyst will also assist in developing or implementing processes to capture business operation information and work on ad hoc projects as necessary.

Job description:
-Business Data Analyst will report directly to VP of Finance
-Work with stakeholders across departments to understand what KPIs are important, implement tracking, and develop processes for exchanging feedback
-Engage cross functionally to identify, prioritize, frame, and structure complex and ambiguous challenges, where analytics projects or tools can have the biggest impact
-Develop best practices and approaches to answer ad hoc questions about patient behavior, journeys, marketing performance and more.
-Work with large, complex datasets and computer systems to provide unique insights for data-driven decisions and develop efficient and reasonable process for cross-functional operations
-Develop and maintain data models, reports and dashboards using knowledge of internal data structures and metrics, advocating for changes where needed
-Develop analytical pipelines and internal tools to accelerate operations within and across teams. Increase data accessibility within the organization by enabling scheduled reporting and monitoring in non-graphic or graphic form
-Assist various testing, optimization efforts, and special initiatives by performing in-depth and ad-hoc analysis of information from multiple data sources
-Prepare and present reports, analysis and presentations to various stakeholders including executives

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
-2+ years’ experience in data analysis and reporting
-Bachelor’s in any quantitative subject (computer science, math, economics, statistics, etc.) preferred
-Proficiency in Excel, Access, SQL, Python, a plus
-Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
-Interest to develop corporate finance experience in addition to furthering data analysis abilities
-Healthcare industry experience plus
-Familiarity with statistical concepts
-Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and self-starter mentality
-Desire and ability to work in South Bay (Los Angeles)
-Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

Working conditions:
Corporate office setting. The ability to stand and sit for hours at a time, (with some bending and stooping), ability to use manual dexterity in relation to clinical requirements, and ability to lift 20 lbs.
