This is an entry-level position with no supervisory responsibilities. The attendant is a key point of contact for guests and is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary workspace, as well as upholding all safety standards, including those related to alcohol service. The work is performed in a variety of settings, which may include exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise. The role requires the ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and the flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Take orders from guests in a proper, efficient, and friendly manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Uphold a safe and sanitary work environment, maintaining cleanliness of the cashier station, menus, and other tools.
- Follow all alcohol safety standards, including checking identification to verify the minimum drinking age.
- Maintain stock levels of all goods in the condiment, dining room, and front counter areas for the next shift.
- Perform financial transactions and process guest payments for goods and services.
- Promote a fun, friendly, quick, comfortable, clean, and safe environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This is an entry-level position with little to no previous work experience required.
- Ability to obtain a food handler’s card.
- Ability to obtain a State-issued Alcoholic Beverage License.
