Your role
We’re looking for an Associate Director, Investment Banking to:
• Analyze all aspects of both internal and external workflows and given significant responsibility across the deal lifecycle.
• Workflows may include industry research, sector and vertical database maintenance, newsletters and updates, market analysis and client requests.
• Responsible for developing pitch book presentations to explain industry trends. Discuss client options and recommend strategies to meet client goals.
• Identify and meet client needs; coordinating and working alongside colleagues and investors; spotting problems and generating options and recommend solutions; and working with the full deal team to professionally execute on behalf of the team's clients.
• Use financial analysis, financial modeling, deep company and industry diligence, and preparation of investor and deal materials, including but not limited to pitch books, management presentations, valuation materials, data room maintenance, etc. Generating new ideas and creative approaches that push the business forward.
Salary Range & Work Schedule: $200,000 to $225,000/year, 40 hrs/wk. This notice is being posted in connection with an application for permanent Alien Labor Certification. • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, or a related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst, Credit Risk Analyst, or a related occupation.
• Alternate Education & Experience Requirement (if applicable)
• The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Finance, or a related field of study and 4 years of experience in the job offered or 4 years of experience as an Investment Banking Analyst, Credit Risk Analyst, or a related occupation in lieu of Master’s degree and 2 years of experience.
Position requires experience with the following:
• (1) Financial modeling and valuation (LBO, DCF, and merger models); (2) Corporate finance and financial statement analysis; (3) Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; (4) Capital Markets; (5) Execution of various transactions such as M&A, IPOs, and private capital raises; (6) Data Room Preparation and Management; (7) Business and financial due diligence; (8) TMT industry expertise, market research, and market knowledge; (9) Project Management and Deal Execution; (10) SQL and VBA; (11) Credit risk assessment and analysis (repurchase agreements, prime brokerage products, and securities lending).
