What You'll Do:

We're seeking an experienced conversion optimization product manager who can both strategize and implement optimization initiatives across our direct-to-consumer website experiences.  This role combines analytics and testing methodologies with hands-on technical implementation to drive revenue growth, improve conversion rates and enhance the customer experience.  You’ll bring curiosity, creativity, analytical thinking and technical expertise to help drive product optimization.

 

Key Responsibilities

Strategic:

  • Analyze user behavior and develop hypotheses based on quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Work with other web product managers to develop and maintain testing roadmaps
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on results 

Technical:

  • Implement A/B tests and multi variate experiments using our experimentation platform
  • Write and modify basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create test variations
  • Configure and test implementations across different browsers and devices
  • Set up and validate proper tracking in accordance with measurement plans

Experiment Management:

  • Help maintain detailed documentation of all experiments, including hypotheses, implementations, and outcomes
  • Write comprehensive experiment summaries including key learnings and next steps
  • Coordinate with product manager on experiment prioritization and scheduling
  • Maintain testing protocols and best practices documentation
Who You Are:
  • 5+ years of experience in conversion optimization, web experimentation, eCommerce or related discipline
  • Experience implementing and managing A/B tests within an experimentation platform (Optimzely, Adobe Test & Target, A/B Tasty, Kameleoon, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to write basic html/css/js
  • Understanding of statistical significance and testing methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Fullstory, Content Square, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent data visualization and presentation abilities 

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in financial services with retirement-focused products (IRAs, 401(k) rollovers, annuities).
  • Experience working with direct to consumer and direct response marketing campaigns.
Salary Range Information:Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range:$100800 - $158100 / yearTime Off Program:Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.Pension Eligible:YesAdditional Information:

Work Environments 

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
