Episcopal Homes of Minnesota has proudly served seniors for 130 years in St. Paul’s Midway neighborhood. Our vibrant campus offers Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Home Care services.

Kings Crossing and Cornelia House are two of our premier Independent Living communities, offering modern apartments, on-site amenities like cafés, libraries, and fitness centers, and a welcoming, close-knit atmosphere. Residents enjoy engaging programs, social events, and the freedom to live independently with support close at hand.

Wage: $23.00-$24.00/hr. Based on experience 
Schedule: Full-Time| Day Shift | Occasional evenings/weekends for events

*This role will be split between Kings Crossing and Cornelia House (35-40hrs/wk.)

What You’ll Do:

  • Meet with prospective and current residents to assess needs and determine appropriate fit for Independent Living.
  • Proactively connect with residents to check in and assess abilities, functioning, and additional needs annually.
  • Support new residents with move-in orientation, tenancy requirements, and introductions to community and staff.
  • Complete ongoing non-medical assessments for residents needing additional support to maintain independence.
  • Coordinate with residents, families, and service providers to ensure care needs are met.
  • Attend discharge and care conferences to support continuity of services.
  • Maintain and share resource information for services, programs, and volunteer opportunities.
  • Assist residents and families in completing service-related paperwork and applications.
  • Provide referrals to home health care, supportive services, or long-term care facilities as needed.
  • Foster collaboration with other campus departments.
  • Support and facilitate Resident Council or monthly resident meetings.
  • Plan and implement educational, wellness, and creative engagement programs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident files and documentation.
  • Submit annual reports or data to HUD (through AASC) or Episcopal Homes (through Welbi).
  • Complete required continuing education (36 CEUs in first year, 12 CEUs annually thereafter).
  • Work within a set budget for programs and services.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for working with older adults, including those with memory, mental, and/or physical limitations.
  • Knowledge of the aging process, needs, and potential of older adults.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with community resources and social service programs.
  • Strong active listening, mediation, and confidentiality skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Team-oriented with a positive, proactive approach.
  • Experience with diverse populations; bilingual skills (especially Asian or African languages) a plus.
  • Physical ability to meet job demands, including lifting up to 35 lbs. and extended periods of standing or walking.
