We work hand-in-hand with cities and local community organizations to connect communities of color, non-English speakers, and renters to energy-saving programs and affordable renewable energy. These programs help families and businesses save money, make their homes healthier, and combat climate change. We are also increasing green career opportunities for people of color, multilingual individuals, and women.
We are seeking a detail-oriented intern to join our team as we support our organization’s data-related needs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience using Salesforce, a leading CRM platform while supporting our mission to advance racial, economic, and climate justice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support our organization’s teams and external partners by configuring data imports, reports, and exports
- Assist with configuring and improving our data storage infrastructure
- Conduct audits to identify and resolve inconsistencies in our data intake, imports, and processing
- Test data configurations and processes created by other team members
- Support onboarding of external partners to our Google Workspace and Salesforce
- Provide basic Level 1 IT support to our internal staff and assist with general data security improvements
- Provide ad-hoc support for Salesforce-related tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing data
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets with ability to organize and analyze data
- Familiarity with CRM concepts and preferably some Salesforce experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and on a team
- Passion for advancing social and climate justice
Hours and Compensation:
- $20/hour
- Up to 20 hours per week for up to 12 weeks in the fall
- Flexible work (hours or location) with periodic in-person meetings
- Relaxed dress code
