What you'll be doing...
Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring applications and resolving issues through debugging and change requests
- Designing small-scale systems and optimising performance
- Using tools like SQL, Matillion, Snowflake, and ServiceNow to manage tasks and SLAs
- Collaborating with delivery teams during transition phases and knowledge transfer
- Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing to ensure continuity and team learning
- Mastering our technology stack; Snowflake and Matillion
- Responding to customer issues proactively and meeting SLAs with minimal supervision
- Identifying and resolving recurring issues and contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing
What you'll need to succeed...
- Experience with ETL tools (Matillion is preferred, but others like Fivetran, SSIS, ADF, Informatica, or DBT are welcome)
- Strong understanding of data modelling (Kimball methodology) and data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with ticketing tools like ServiceNow, Jira, or similar
- Analytical thinking, dedication, and a willingness to learn and ask questions
- A purely development-focused role without operational responsibilities
- A rigid working schedule; adaptability is key (CET hours with flexibility for early monitoring)
