Job Title: Student Information System Assistant

Job Summary:
The purpose of this job is to assist the Student Information Systems and Compliance Reporting Coordinator to manage and maintain the division Student Information System (PowerSchool SIS) and Student Enrollment Management System (PowerSchool Enrollment) and to comply with all required reporting.
Essential Duties
- Collect data, review, and submit division reports for local, state and federal entities.
- Manage division Student Information System (PowerSchool SIS) and Student Enrollment Management System (PowerSchool Enrollment).
- Provide SIS training, guidance, and support to school administrators, staff, and teachers to ensure data integrity.
- Troubleshoot SIS and data-related issues.
- Synchronize and/or upload data to external educational databases and monitors for data continuity.
- Attend SIS state, regional, and national training opportunities.
- Other duties as assigned by the Student Information Systems and Compliance Reporting Coordinator, Supervisor of Instructional Technology and Systems Integration, and/or other appropriate administrator.
- Performs related work as required.
Minimum Education and Experience Qualifications
A high school diploma is required. Two (2) years experience in a clerical setting is preferred. Experience managing and extracting data from a student information system for reporting purposes preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Excel is required.
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
Physical Demands
Performs sedentary work that involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
