Cannon Bowl is a local bowling alley under new management, committed to bringing a fresh and exciting atmosphere to our community. As we move forward with enhancing our brand and customer experience, we are looking for a dynamic, entrepreneurial Bowling Alley Manager to help lead the charge and drive success.

Requirements

The Bowling Alley Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the bowling alley, ensuring that the business runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably. This individual must be self-sustaining, proactive, and motivated to take ownership of the venue, creating an atmosphere that guests love and staff thrive in. The ideal candidate will be a problem solver, an excellent communicator, and someone who brings a "go-getter" attitude to every aspect of the business. 


Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bowling alley, ensuring the facility runs smoothly, efficiently, and is maintained at a high standard.

• Team Leadership: Hire, train, and manage a team of staff, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver excellent customer service. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.

• Customer Experience: Ensure that guests have an outstanding experience, addressing customer concerns promptly and effectively. Create new and innovative ways to engage customers and enhance their visit.

• Financial Management: Monitor revenue and expenses, ensure profitability, and identify opportunities to improve financial performance. 

• Marketing and Promotions: Work with the team to develop and execute local marketing initiatives and promotions that will draw customers in and increase sales. Leverage social media and community outreach to promote events and specials.

• Maintenance & Safety: Ensure the facility is well-maintained and operates within safety regulations. Work with staff to address repairs and improvements as needed.

• Business Development: Utilize an entrepreneurial mindset to identify new opportunities for growth, including new revenue streams, partnerships, and community involvement.

• Independent Operation: Manage daily operations independently with minimal oversight from upper management, ensuring that business goals and objectives are consistently achieved.


Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role in the hospitality or entertainment industry, preferably in bowling or a similar venue.

• Strong entrepreneurial spirit with a track record of independently running a business or department successfully.

• Ability to make quick decisions and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

• Self-sustaining with a “go-get-it” attitude, able to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.

• Knowledge of financial management, including budgeting and cost control.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business operations.

• Passion for the bowling industry and a commitment to enhancing the customer experience.
