As a Software Engineer - III (.NET Core, Azure), you will take an active ownership role in architecting, implementing, and managing Guidepoint’s growing Azure presence. The purpose of the role is to focus on delivering available, scalable enterprise PaaS-based solutions.
This is a hybrid position based in Pune.
What You will Do:
- Develop and support scalable, maintainable software solutions utilizing .NET, Web API, Microservices, and Azure.
- Hands-on coding and development using .NET technologies for backend development.
- Build new applications/services/platforms.
- Refactor legacy components using innovative/scalable platforms.
- Work with large database schemas that include adding and updating tables and rows.
- Participate in agile SDLC meetings with other engineering teams (Full-stack, QA, DevOps, and Product teams)
- Implement and advocate for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards in software design and development.
Required Technical Qualifications:
- Core Development: 7+ years of experience developing software using C#, .NET Core, Web API, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server.
- Knowledge of building React/Angular Applications.
- Experience with Azure Services like Service Bus, Functions, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Load Balancer, API Management, App Service, Web Apps, Web Jobs, Azure Active Directory, Azure Monitor, Cosmos DB, Application Gateway, API Gateway, Azure Key Vault, PowerShell, JSON, Azure Analytics, Redis Cache.
- Familiarity with software design principles and architecture patterns, OOPS concepts.
- Hands-on experience in building C#.NET Core WebAPIs.
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as xUnit.
- Hands-on experience with continuous integration tools (Git, Jenkins, TFS).
- Hands-on experience working with containers and container orchestration systems (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Design and build software that is accessible, scalable, and maintainable, incorporating best security practices.
