Job Summary

DEFINITION Under supervision of the Principal or designee, in a paraprofessional capacity, perform technical and specialized duties within a school library and textbook facility. Assist students and staff with library resources, utilize a library and textbook software system to process and maintain books and instructional media materials and equipment. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certification/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; one (1) year educational or clerical experience; and, one of the following: • An associates or higher college degree. • The equivalent of at least two years of college credit (48 semester units). • Pass the Chaffey Academic Assessment Test. Desired Qualification: Library Technology Certificate; current data base and office technology.
