Para I =AA degree or higher or Two years of college (48 units) or Pass NCLB approved local assessment test of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction Para II=requirements above, plus 15 units in general subjects or child growth and development from a community college or university accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Para III=possession of an AA degree or higher in general subjects or child growth and development from a community college or university accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Para IV=Ability to obtain and maintain district-provided student hygiene assistance training.
