The Role

 

Under the supervision of the Team Leader of Network & Telecom this role provides dedicated support for A/V in conference rooms, Teams rooms, and Microsoft Live production-related services for our clients at both their Auburn Hills MI  and Reston, VA facilities.  Live event productions and coordination occurs anywhere within the North American region (NAR).  In addition to defining current roles and responsibilities, we’ve identified opportunities to expand uses and help our clients reduce costs through outside services.  Production and editing assistance for users of digital signage is part of the role.  

 

Personnel Requirements:

  • 2 Dedicated Full Time Employees (FTE):
    • 1 FTE embedded at the Auburn Hills, MI facility
    • 1 FTE embedded at the Reston, VA facility
  • Additional adhoc services for event, meeting, digital signage, and video production support.
  • This role will be required to report onsite at the facility.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Facility AV Support Services:
    • Daily maintenance testing and readiness of all Teams rooms within the 7 floors of the Reston location, including the boardroom and Customer Experience Center.   Other rooms and the Auburn Hills location when required.
    • Daily quality check and troubleshoot for all 40+ Teams rooms in Reston each morning before 8 am.
    • Manage and oversight of our client’s studio in Auburn Hills for all video production needs, including monthly executive videos, classroom/training videos, product discovery, teleprompter and other technical support for video broadcast shoots.
    • Studio booking schedule and activity; studio schedule communication to key players when needed.
    • Teams Live events production and training assistance, typically 30 events per month.  Support for audio mixing for meetings, Teams Live Event meeting setup.
    • Provide creative guidance and support for digital signage to various departments and teams utilizing digital signage.
    • Serve as day-to-day liaison to Internet Technology team in building.
    • Provide large meeting and event A/V support for large conference rooms and meetings throughout the week.
    • Provide after-hour support for international communication needs (i.e. Group Quality quarterly meeting, Brand meetings, etc.) as needed, providing coordination with communications and messaging departments, document and presentation support for powerpoint and slides.
    • Support for corporate webcasts with third party vendors, coordinate webcast connectivity with third party providers on request.
    • Support and coordination for full production broadcasts and taping.
    • Technical research as needed on new systems for Digital Signage, etc.
    • Provide cross training of each FTE resource for consistency across both client facilities (Reston and Auburn Hills).
  • Studio / Lighting Maintenance
    • In Auburn Hills, responsible for scheduling and coordination of bi-annual studio maintenance check. Includes lighting replacement – lighting replacement and other in-studio gear maintenance and checks. Responsible for lighting replacements as determined in studio maintenance checks. Estimated costs $2,500 – 3,000 annually per facility.

 

Qualifications:

Formal Education or Equivalent Experience

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to effectively work and complete tasks in an open office/noisy environment.
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time while traveling in a car or airplane.

The salary range for this role is $70,000-$95,000. However, it is important to note that at MHP, compensation range is dependent on geographic location. Individual salaries within each range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skillset. MHP reviews compensation regularly and may adjust base salaries to reflect market competitiveness.
