We are seeking a professional and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This individual will play a vital role in supporting daily operations and maintaining a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. As a central point of contact, the Administrative Assistant will contribute to the smooth functioning of office activities through effective communication and organizational support.

 

This position is full-time, on-site in the MedRx Largo, FL office.

Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming phone calls and route to proper department.
  • Greet visitors as they arrive in the building.
  • Take notes during company meetings, sales meetings, and requested events.
  • Knowledge of Navision and the company part numbers.
  • Understand the invoicing process and how entering invoices changes inventory records.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Any additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications:

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong computer skills, with ability to use email, Microsoft Office suite of programs, Navision.
  • Must be a self-starter, organized, able to work independently with strong interpersonal & effective communication skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • First-rate interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and sit for long periods of time during a daily routine. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times. 
  • Clear background check including criminal history and education verification.
