Our Opportunity

GPJ is hiring a Senior Registration Project Manager to join our growing team.

This role is hybrid, requiring you to report on-site to one of the following office locations a minimum of 2 days/week: Austin, Boston, Detroit, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Nashville, New York City, or San Francisco.

Your Role

In your capacity as the Senior Registration Project Manager, your responsibilities encompass planning, developing, and executing registration program operations for complex and large-scale events, covering the entire process from concept to on-site execution. Collaborating with the  Digital Producer,, you will define technical specifications for online registration forms, correspondence plans, and reporting requirements. As the primary point of contact for registration matters, you are attuned to every aspect of registration.

 

A critical component of this role is maintaining regular client-facing relationships, as this contributes to successful project outcomes. You are entrusted with various responsibilities, including managing registration timelines, overseeing data integrity and quality control, handling registration reporting, managing on-site registration processes, and training and supervising on-site staff. Your role requires proactive engagement and effective management to ensure seamless execution.

Your Skills

  • Experience in large scale, complex registration projects. 
  • Experience leading a successful team
  • Skills acquired in hotel reservations or front desk are a definite plus!

Your Competencies

Communication - Able to relate ideas to others in many forms (email, phone, in person) and ensure that all who need to be informed are kept in the loop, making sure no detail is left out. Advocate and educate for the housing management services and practice.

Customer Orientation - Demonstrate concern for satisfying external and/or internal customers. Focus always on the end customer, that response times and service are at the forefront of customer interactions, via technology or human touch points. Provide superior customer service by prioritizing personal interactions (verbal or face-face) with our clients on a regular cadence. Listening as well as advising our clients on given situations to ensure event success.

Flexible - Easily move on to new tasks with little to no notice. Put personal preferences aside and switch to a different strategy, form of communication or other objective. Willing to understand client contracts, client IT and procurement requirements and supplier code of conduct, scope and work to ensure all are adhered to.

Solution Oriented - Focus on the desired outcome and be ready with multiple solutions in order to reach the end goal. Working on multiple platforms work with the client and digital production teams to ensure the processes are streamlined, clear and effective.

Your Experience

Experience & Education

  • 5(+) years’ of Event experience 
  • Experience in large scale, complex registration projects. 
  • Experience leading a successful team
  • Skills acquired in event technology or as a technical project manager are a plus.

Travel & Mobility

  • Ability to travel 35%

Your Impact

Beyond the Registration Team, you will find yourself joining forces most often with the Account Director, PM, Housing Project Manager, and the Contact Center team.  

Outside of GPJ, you will often collaborate with our clients, agency partners and vendors.

Salary Range: $80k - $90k

Salary is dependent on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) experience, skills, and location.
