POSITION SUMMARY

The receptionist is a vital role to the success of Park Country Club. We are looking for someone that can fill this role on a part time basis on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am - 5pm. This role is responsible for managing phone calls, handling mail, and answering general inquiries and requests that members have. This person also handles various administrative tasks including signage, menus, and reporting. The receptionist is often the first point of contact members and guests have at the club and must be organized and maintain a welcoming attitude. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Is welcoming and greets all members and guests as they enter the building.   
  • Aware of all events happening around the Club on a daily basis. Actively directs members and guests where to go. 
  • Answers phone calls and handles general inquiries regarding Club hours, events, special orders, and reservations. 
  • Appropriately relays specific requests to the department managers. 
  • Handles the reception email and responds to member requests in a timely manner. 
  • Takes reservations for a la carte dining and manages the reservation book. 
  • Assists food and beverage staff with special menus and printing needs. 
  • Takes special take out orders and relays to kitchen and dining room staff.

Education

  • High School Diploma (Preferred but not required)

Experience

  • 1 year in a customer service role (Preferred)

  • Computer Skills
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of Jonas, Foretees, or Pacesetter is a plus.
