Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute events from concept to completion.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while meeting client needs.
- Develop event timelines and track project milestones to ensure timely execution.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and expectations for each event.
- Coordinate logistics including venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual needs.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and venues to secure favorable terms.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Event Coordinator or similar role in event planning.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
