Role Overview

Are you a strategic leader passionate about building impactful partnerships and driving customer success? Nexben seeks a visionary Director of Partnerships to lead our partner enablement and success initiatives. This role is pivotal in expanding the reach and impact of Nexben’s innovative products and services.

 

What You’ll Do:

As the Director of Partnerships, you will:

  • Develop, execute, and measure strategies that empower partners to adopt and expand Nexben solutions.
  • Lead and inspire partner success teams focused on driving product utilization and satisfaction.
  • Foster strong relationships with partners to ensure long-term engagement and growth.
  • Collaborate across departments to align partnership goals with broader business objectives.
  • Reduce customer churn by increasing user adoption and supporting account expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to partner success teams, offering guidance and best practices to enhance productivity, efficiency, and partner outcomes. 
  • Advocate customer needs/issues cross-departmentally, working with internal teams to channel customer feedback and solutions into future enhancements to our platform.
  • Attend regular business reviews with channel partners to assess product performance and user feedback, identifying opportunities for additional value-added solutions. 
  • Be the escalation point for partner success team members. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner success teams, external partners, and internal Nexben teams, driving a collaborative environment that ensures partner success. 
  • Capture partner feedback from partner success teams and act as the voice of the customer with the product team to further develop and enhance Nexben products and services.
  • Collaborate with other Nexben teams to provide feedback and identify expansion opportunities that will deliver a seamless customer experience. 
  • Develop a communication cadence for partner success teams to follow up with their partners on products and updates that impact partner objectives.
  • Develop and implement a practical critical account planning framework that produces data-driven measurement and results for assigned partner success teams and their applicable channel partners. 
  • Develop and implement an effective account planning strategy for partner success managers to ensure retention, product adoption, and growth.
  • Develop and track partner utilization, expansion, and satisfaction metrics and contribute to revenue growth and retention targets.
  • Develop relationships with our channel partners in partnership with assigned partner success teams.
  • Develop strategies to communicate, promote, and evaluate partnership opportunities on behalf of the organization. 
  • Develop, track, and forecast critical metrics and document team goals.
  • Ensure partner success teams are proficient and can educate partners on new product features and enhancements, highlighting their potential benefits and ROI. 
  • Facilitate new partner / customer acquisitions based ensuring successful onboarding and adoption occurs. 
  • Foster a collaborative team environment and continuously maintain fluency with overarching channel partnership needs and business priorities while supporting the delivery of an exceptional partner experience.
  • Identify and negotiate partnership expansion efforts, including the launch of new integrated product experiences, unlocking new markets, developing new go-to-market paths, and improving cross-selling collaboration.
  • Identify new processes and best practices necessary to effectively maintain and build relationships with existing partners, working with partner success leaders to implement them.
  • Solve complex issues by interpreting partners' needs, identifying solutions, and assessing any downstream impact.
  • Understand user workflows, pain points, and objectives to align our solutions with partner needs. 
  • Work in partnership with the Partner Operations Manager, ensuring the succinct development and deployment of partner success resources such as knowledge bases, training materials, etc. 
  • Work with partner success teams to capture and track all partnership KPIs.
  • Support other functions as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration is recommended.
  • Three to five years of proven leadership experience in customer/partner success or account management is preferred.
  • A solutions-oriented mindset that can create memorable customer experiences and succinctly and clearly explain technical problems.
  • Experience with the principles of customer success and account management.
  • One to three years of experience providing real-time customer support for SaaS solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software and customer success tools is a plus.
  • Strong organization and project management capabilities. 
  • Technical aptitude and ability to quickly understand and effectively communicate complex software solutions.
