Hybrid Plant Controller bei Midmark Corporation

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for managing the accounting activities, financial analysis, and control activities of the plant to ensure accurate and timely preparation, recording, transmissions, analysis and communication of data necessary to control operations and achieve objectives.  Serves as the financial business partner and liaison to operations management and finance.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Maintains the plant's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives

• Ensures all plant transactions are properly documented

• Reviews and validates the accounting and business controls for the plant

• Prepare and analyze key performance measures/indicators for the manufacturing plant

• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

• Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures

• Performs a variety of tasks

• Leads and directs the work of others

 SECONDARY DUTIES:

• Actively participates in annual, and as required, financial and tax audits

• Key contributor in safeguarding company assets through enforcement of control activities

 EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

A bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. CPA, CMA, and/or MBA not required but is highly desirable.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Direct supervision of assigned cost accountants.
