POSITION SUMMARY
The professional will implement social media strategy and content in line with University of Toledo Marketing standards with the goal of optimizing sourcing efforts to target new talent recruitment. Additionally, the professional will support overall HR and Talent Acquisition efforts with a focus on administrative support for employment agreements and recruitment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Craft engaging content for social media accounts.
- Identify opportunities for growth by using analytical tools relating to social media.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries and comments on various social media platforms.
- Adhere to brand standards when developing the creative content for platforms.
- Plan and implement outreach strategies.
- Maintaining department records and reports; scanning and organization of confidential employee files
- Provide overall clerical and office support to the HR Department, including data entry, filing, scanning, scheduling, and other general office tasks.
- Administer, coordinate, participate, and/or assist with projects and activities.
- Identify opportunities for community engagement and partnerships.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to the community regarding services offered at UTP; schedule, coordinate, organize and attend outreach events.
- Acts as an ambassador for UTP, promoting our services, while following the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements; maintain confidentiality and discretion, including proper disposal/storage of sensitive materials.
- All other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Skills:
- A high degree of professionalism and strong work ethic, coupled with a sense of responsibility and integrity required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak before groups of people.
- Excellent judgment and discretion required in handling highly sensitive, privileged, and confidential information in a respectful manner.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office -- strong Excel, Power Point and Word skills and experience required.
- Proficiency with Social Media Platforms.
- Ability to use content development software and programming to provide consistent social media messaging.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, courteous and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to travel to other office/practice sites as well as meeting and training locations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- Completion or actively Pursuing marketing or HR education/training.
- Experience:
- 1+ years of experience in Human Resources, Customer Service, Marketing or Recruitment.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Works in a professional office environment with possible high stress levels.
- Occasional after-hours and weekend engagement may be required.
- Travel is required.
- Requires prolonged walking and standing.
- Occasional carrying of items weighing up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to work effectively both with internal and external customers in stressful situations.
