Key Responsibilities

Scheduling and Coordination

  • Develop and manage caregiver schedules to meet client needs while ensuring compliance with company policies and state regulations.
  • Monitor and address scheduling conflicts, ensuring continuity of care for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of staff availability, time-off requests, and shift changes.

Staffing and Recruitment Support

  • Assist with identifying staffing needs and coordinate with HR for recruitment efforts.
  • Maintain a database of qualified caregivers, including certifications, availability, and preferences.
  • Coordinate onboarding schedules for new hires in collaboration with HR and the Program Coordinator.

Communication and Client Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for caregivers regarding scheduling matters.
  • Communicate schedule updates to caregivers and clients in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with clients and their families to address concerns and ensure satisfaction with staffing arrangements.

Administrative Duties

  • Utilize scheduling software to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Generate reports on staffing metrics, including hours worked, overtime, and compliance.
  • Assist with payroll by providing accurate and timely attendance data.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in staffing, scheduling, or a related role, preferably in healthcare or home care services.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Other Requirements

  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and scheduling best practices is a plus.
  • Flexibility to handle occasional after-hours scheduling issues.
  • Must pass a background check and meet company compliance standards.
