The Athletics Department at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a dynamic and versatile Head Men's Golf Coach who will direct, develop, and manage all aspects of a Division I Men's Golf program.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
The Head Coach, Men's Golf is responsible for coaching, training and development of student-athletes within the team concept.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Recruitment and talent evaluation of student-athletes.
Monitoring of student-athletes academic progress and personal development.
Budget creation and management.
Tournament and practice scheduling.
Supervise assistant coaches, graduate assistants, temps, work study students or volunteers.
Adherence to Georgia State University, NCAA, Sun Belt Conference rules and policies.
Development and fundraising responsibilities to raise funds for the department and Golf program, along with alumni engagement.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience. Knowledge of NCAA rules and policies and/or certification is required.
Preferred Requirements:
- Knowledge of NCAA, Sun Belt Conference & university rules, polices and regulations.
- Previous head coaching or professional teaching experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communications; Public relations experience a plus.
- Strong organizational acumen and a proclivity for attention to the details.
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
