 S³ is currently seeking a Full Time IT Technician to join the Corporate IT team at our HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL.  

Description: 

The IT Technician provides direct client service support to company users via phone, email, and/or in person and the requirements for service are defined and quantified through an internal  SharePoint developed ticketing system. The Technician answers questions, locates information, analyzes technical requirements, and ensures prompt response to users for problem resolutions that maintains IT resource usability at a metric of 95% effectiveness.   

Responsibilities:

  • Deployment of software updates on PC's and servers.
  • Computer/system installs, configuration of systems, and maintenance of network applications while ensuring system security compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Updating Anti-virus software.
  • Troubleshooting desktop, laptop, workstation hardware, printers.
  • Data migration between PC's and, performing system/PC/Laptop scheduled backups.
  • Operates audio/visual equipment, projectors, presentation hardware, and other equipment as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with the implementation of Microsoft Office Windows 7 and Windows 10 in a business environment, and, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).
  • Enterprise tool sets such as Computer Remote Control software, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange. 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. This is an entry level position.
  • Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
