JOB SUMMARY: | |
The Allocations Analyst is responsible for ensuring effective inventory allocation that supports store plans and current trends. The Analyst uses store attributes and metrics to review allocations and manage exceptions. The Analyst ensures product forecasts are sufficiently supporting zone and store opportunities in season to maximize top line sales. The Analyst plays a key role within the cross-functional business team of Merchandising, Chain and Store Planning. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience analyzing data, drawing conclusions and informing forecasting levers to continually improve allocation effectiveness. This candidate will exhibit strong communication skills with the ability to influence strategies and course correct as necessary. This candidate will be self-motivated to plan and prioritize multiple tasks and have strong attention to detail. The Allocations Analyst will play a critical role in building a positive work culture, driving employee involvement, and supporting change management efforts within the retail organization.
