About POSH

We are all social creatures, but the dominant “social” companies today have evolved into digital loneliness machines, driving isolation, anxiety, and mental health challenges across our lives.

Human connection is lost. Posh is a beacon guiding us back.

Posh enables anyone to become an event organizer, build a community around their followers, and bring people together in person to cultivate real-world human connections. Founded by event enthusiasts and college dropouts, we’ve built the ultimate tools for creating, marketing, and monetizing in-person communities globally. In just three years, Posh has grown to a team of 60, expanded to 5M+ users, secured $40m in venture funding, and facilitated over $220M in transactions. We've achieved more than teams ten times our size in a tenth of the time—and there's so much more to come.

About The Role

As an Onboarding Specialist at Posh, you will play a vital role in shaping a new organizer’s first impression of our platform. You’ll act as the frontline representative of our Customer Success team, helping organizers get set up for success from day one.

Your primary goal is to increase activation rate, ensuring new organizers understand how to use Posh, what resources they have access to, and who they can connect with to reach their goals.

This is a high-impact, fast-paced role ideal for someone who thrives on human connection, has a service-first mindset, and is passionate about live events and community building.

This position will be an on-site role based in our SOHO office on Monday through Thursday, from 10:00am to 3:00pm.

What You'll Learn & Achieve

  • Build Real Connections: Call and welcome new organizers who join Posh — creating energy, clarity, and momentum in their onboarding journey.

  • Activate New Organizers: Guide organizers through their first actions on the platform, such as setting up an event, understanding ticketing, or marketing to their audience.

  • Navigate Our Ecosystem: Help organizers understand what tools, teams, and capital resources are available to them, and direct them accordingly.

  • Shape the First Experience: Be the human touchpoint that turns curiosity into confidence and excitement, ensuring a world-class first impression of Posh.

  • Drive Insights: Surface trends, blockers, and opportunities from your conversations to improve the onboarding experience company-wide.

  • Room for Growth: This part-time offers hands-on experience with real career upside. High performers may take on more responsibility, join cross-team projects, and be considered for full-time roles in Success, Community, or Growth.

Skills and Experience You’ll Need

  • Clear, Confident, and Friendly Communication: You’re comfortable picking up the phone, introducing yourself, and building instant rapport. You know how to adjust your tone and approach to make new users feel welcome, informed, and at ease - whether you’re speaking with a seasoned promoter or a first-time organizer.

  • Strong Organizational Habits and Follow-through: You can juggle multiple onboarding conversations at once without dropping the ball. Whether it’s taking notes, tracking progress in a CRM, or following up with a helpful resource.

  • Collaborative, Solutions-Oriented Mindset: You don’t just listen - you troubleshoot, suggest, and adapt. You enjoy working with other teams (like Product or Support) to resolve organizer needs, and you’re eager to improve our internal processes based on what you learn in the field.

  • Genuine Passion for Events and Human Connection: You understand the magic of a great in-person experience. Whether it's a fashion show, house party, or yoga class - you get why organizers do what they do and want to support their success on every level.

  • Adaptability and Startup Energy: Posh moves fast and so do you. You’re comfortable in a fast-changing environment where every week may bring a new playbook or tool. You bring positivity, resourcefulness, and a sense of ownership to every challenge.

  • Experience in Customer-Facing Roles (a Plus): Whether from a part-time job, internship, or full-time role - if you’ve helped users, answered questions, or managed customer relationships, you’ll feel right at home in this position.

  • Comfort with Tools Like CRMs or Help Desks (Nice to Have): While not required, familiarity with platforms like Notion, Vitally, or similar systems will help you get up to speed quickly. More important is your eagerness to learn and willingness to explore new tools independently.
