Operations Manager
Salary: $95,000 - $110,000, based upon experience
Job Description
- Build and nurture long-term strategic relationships with key customers, serving as a trusted partner and primary point of contact.
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities through proactive customer engagement, including regular on-site visits and tailored solution presentations.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their technical and operational challenges, and provide consultative guidance on value-added solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive market and competitor analyses to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities, and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
Tasks
- Deliver proactive and solution-oriented customer support, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term partnership.
- Provide expert technical sales consulting tailored to customer-specific requirements and industry standards.
- Lead and manage price negotiations with a focus on value creation and long-term profitability.
- Drive the identification and acquisition of new customers across target markets.
- Plan and execute customer visits, including thorough preparation and follow-up through detailed visit reports.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations, ensuring alignment with technical and commercial expectations.
- Support feasibility studies by evaluating technical and commercial viability in close collaboration with internal teams.
- Contribute to the review and refinement of customer functional specifications to ensure clarity and alignment with deliverables.
- Collaborate in optimizing logistic and production workflows, including consulting on rack design and system integration.
- Continuously monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to enhance visibility and expand the professional network.
- Oversee sales controlling activities, including pipeline tracking, forecasting, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
Additional Area of Responsibility
- Support the planning and execution of trade fair appearances, ensuring consistent and impactful brand representation.
- Collaborate in the coordination and execution of marketing and advertising initiatives to strengthen market presence.
- Contribute actively to the company’s continuous improvement process, driving operational excellence and innovation.
- Support the ongoing development of integrated management systems in accordance with IATF 16949.
- Contribute to the achievement of corporate objectives by implementing and promoting initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic goals and performance targets.
Requirements / Skills
- Min. 5–10 years in automotive sales or procurement or project management.
- Strong network in aluminum body component / automotive market (OEMs & Tier 1s).
- Proven track record sales generation.
- Technical understanding of surface treatment/coating processes.
- Advanced Business English knowledge, verbal and written
- Valid US Driver’s license
- PC knowledge, basic data processing knowledg
- MS-Excel MS-PowerPoint, MS-Project, ZOHO a plus

Hours and Work Conditions
- 6:00am - 2:00pm (M-F)
