    • Lead the integration of SQS principles into business planning, performance metrics, and operational playbooks across transportation, warehousing, and cross-border logistics.
  • Operational Risk Management
    • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for current operations and new business opportunities.

  • Performance Monitoring & Governance
    • Establish SQS performance dashboards, ensuring consistent KPI reporting, accountability, and transparency across all functional areas.
    • Lead recurring audit programs, inspections, and compliance reviews to validate adherence to internal standards and external regulations.
  • Regulatory Compliance & External Engagement
    • Ensure compliance with all OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulations as well as applicable safety/security requirements in Mexico and Canada.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and lead all external audits and investigations with professionalism and confidence.
  • Organizational Enablement & Change Management
    • Build and mentor a high-performing SQS team and foster cross-functional alignment in a matrixed environment.
    • Develop and deliver scalable training programs to educate frontline staff, managers, and executives on SQS protocols and behavioral expectations.
    • Champion a culture of accountability, learning, and empowerment around safety, quality, and security.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Industrial Operations, or related field
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in occupational safety, quality, or security in transportation, logistics, or warehousing environments

  • Inclusive and collaborative leader who builds strong teams and empowers direct reports to deliver
  • Excellent communicator with polished verbal, written, and presentation skills

Technical & Functional Expertise
