The Scott Scholars Program Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the Hastings College Scott Scholars Program Director in the implementation of all aspects of the scholarship program, such as recruiting, tracking academic and co-curricular progress, identifying and assisting students at risk of not completing their course of study, career development partnerships, internships, sponsorships, work-based learning opportunities and all specialized programming. The Program Coordinator will also be responsible for administrative duties such as collecting data for reports and coordinating meetings and events.
This position is grant funded for 5 years and is a 12-month position that requires an on-site presence at Hastings College campus. This position will report to the Director of the Scott Scholars Program at Hastings College. Occasional evening and weekend hours and travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and meet with scholars on a regular basis to check in on academic and co-curricular progress and assist as needed.
- Provide administrative and programming support to the Program Director.
- Assist the Program Director in recruiting new scholars to the scholarship programs and marketing the programs to stakeholders.
- Coordinate Scott Scholars alumni engagement efforts at the campus level and collaborate with the Foundation to connect alumni across programs.
- Coordinate and attend scholarship, college, and community events.
- Identify and explore opportunities for Hastings College and Central Community College- Hastings to partner (service, leadership development, business tours, etc.).
- Assist with monitoring the budget and submitting invoices for payment.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of experience in education, recruiting, outreach, student support, career placement, or other related fields or related experience or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
