Minor Hotels is a global hospitality group operating over 550 hotels, resorts and residences in 56 countries in Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Africa, the Indian Ocean, Europe and the Americas. As a hotel owner, operator and investor, Minor Hotels fulfils the needs and desires of today’s global travellers through its diverse portfolio of eight hotel brands – Anantara, Avani, Elewana, NH, NH Collection, nhow, Oaks and Tivoli. As part of Minor Hotels, the region of Minor Hotels Europe & Americas is responsible for more than 350 properties in 30 countries and plans to grow across all segments, with a focus on its upper-upscale and luxury brands.
What will be your mission?
He/she will be responsible for managing Commercial & Operational reports to deliver outstanding customer service, monitor the performance of group sales segments (MICE events, congresses) and the efficiency / operations for our contact centers which are key channels within the company.
Will report to the VP Operational Excellence Analytics within the Business Intelligence Team.
What will you do?
- Deliver a pull of existing reports that support the business in the group sales area and contact centers.
- Improve & develop the reports with new content adapted to business requirements.
- Support group segment sales and operational kpis for our contact centers.
- Collaborate with the rest of the Business Intelligence team to develop and improve our set of reports & tools.
- Develop and implement new procedures for managing quality of the reports of the area.
- Assure trustable information and set data validation procedures over the existing information.
- Support in the implantation of the Business Intelligence´s strategy of the company
What are we looking for?
EXPERIENCE
- +1-year working with SQL (Big Query Google Cloud is a plus)
- +1-year managing reservations data for future estimations/forecast
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma (Engineering, Economics, Mathematics or similar)
- Master in data analytics, revenue management or Big Data is a plus
- Fluent in both Spanish & English
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Knowledge and comfortable with tools such as BigQuery, PowerBI
- Knowledge of programming languages: Python and/or R
- Results driven and attention for quality
- Data-oriented personality
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Excellent management and organizational skills
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
