What You’ll Do: As an Inside Sales Associate, you’ll be a trusted advisor to contractors and technicians, guiding them to the right parts, tools, and solutions for every job. You’ll balance product knowledge with a heart for service, ensuring each customer interaction moves their work forward—efficiently and accurately. It is expected that the Inside Sales Associate will work a minimum of 42.5 hours per week in accordance with the standard company operating hours of 7:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as business needs arise. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Prospect, qualify, quote, and generate sales within the company’s established trading partners
  • Assist contractors and technicians over the phone, and via email
  • Recommend products, tools, and solutions that fit their specific job needs
  • Troubleshoot product availability or technical questions with confidence
  • Collaborate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment
  • Build long-term customer relationships based on trust and reliability
  • Stay up to date on HVAC products, promotions, and industry trends
  • Ensure suspect identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels
  • Identify and close additional purchases of products and services by customers' communities
  • Manage state bids

What You’ll Bring: 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience with Microsoft Outlook or platform using email and calendar
  • 3 years experience working as a CSR or equivalent experience in the HVAC-R or related industry
  • Current and Valid Driver’s License
  • 3 year paid experience working as a CSR in the HVAC industry (preferred)
  • 5 years in a customer service-related role (preferred)
  • 5 years applying HVAC-R product knowledge in a customer service position (preferred)
  • 1 year proven experience proactive selling above customer’s initial request (preferred)
  • Knowledge of the HVAC industry products and practices
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and use new technology
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong Critical Thinking skills and problem solving ability
  • Excellent organizing, planning, and prioritization skills
  • Strong active listening and social perceptiveness
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel,

The team member frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The team member is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Where You’ll be Working: This position works in a collaborative office setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, and filing cabinets. The team member is expected to work with other Inside Sales representatives directly to maximize efforts and role performance.
