Reports To: Executive Director of Human Resources
PURPOSE: The HR Data Manager plays a critical role in supporting the Human Resources department through the management and analysis of employee data, coordination of key reporting processes, and oversight of compliance-related documentation. This position ensures the accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality of information while providing high-quality support for internal and external stakeholders across the district.

3 years’ relevant work history. Significant work experience may be substitute for education.
Demonstrated technology skills with HRIS, word-processing, and spreadsheet software.
Experience with a variety of databases and computer software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Alio, Filemaker, and appropriate work comp websites and online tools.
Knowledge of applicable laws, policies and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
Knowledge of Worker’s Compensation, applicable laws and regulations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Applies composition and proofreading skills in producing clear, accurate, and fact-based memos, letters, reports, and other documents for appropriate stakeholders.
Uses effective written and oral communication skills to convey essential information to staff, administrators, and a variety of community patrons.
Answers questions regarding district workers’ comp insurance and assists in collecting information, filing claims, and reporting to various stakeholders.
Assists with reconciling monthly worker’s compensation invoices for accuracy and submits for payment.
Oversees the completion of the spring and fall vacancy reports.
Oversees the completion of mandatory state/federal surveys & reports.
Coordinates Position Control efforts between Human Resources, Business Office, & Payroll.
Coordinates completion of certified, classified-exempt, and administrative contracts.
Oversees & coordinates evaluation schedules with principals & administrators.
Tracks certified years of experience in relevant systems.
Oversees evaluations for classified & certified staff.
Administers annual salary schedules.
Oversees substitute licenses & initiates renewal reminders.
Coordinates submission of substitute waivers to KSDE.
Maintain Frontline absentee system & provide weekly report to Superintendent.
Assists with updating the KSDE staff directory.
Assists with coordinating the quarterly district secretary meetings.
Manage data in various databases and applications in order to produce reports and complete surveys.
Assist in reviewing and revising various handbooks and employment forms.
Assist with filing employee documents as needed.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the HR Director or other appropriate administrator.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk and hear.
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.

The work environment is in an office setting.
