TeamHealth is seeking a dynamic physician leader to serve in a dual capacity at Abrazo West Campus, a level I trauma center in the Phoenix metro area. As our facility medical director you will oversee the clinical operations at Abrazo West while also leading scholarly activity for the ACGME accredited EM residency program as our academic/ research director!

TeamHealth is seeking a dynamic physician leader to serve in a dual capacity at Abrazo West Campus, a level I trauma center in the Phoenix metro area. As our facility medical director you will oversee the clinical operations at Abrazo West while also leading scholarly activity for the ACGME accredited EM residency program as our academic/ research director!
What You'll Do:
- Lead performance and quality initiatives across two high-volume EDs
- Mentor physicians, residents, and students in research and clinical practice
- Build a collaborative, high-performing emergency department culture
Ideal Candidate:
- Board-certified in EM (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Prior leadership experience in ED operations
- Demonstrated history of academic scholarship and faculty involvement
