Your Impact at SAM:SAM is looking for a leader to establish and grow our local presence. As the Boston Area Leader, you will be responsible for building our new office, assembling a talented team, and driving market growth. You will be a key player in our leadership team, acting as a subject matter expert and the face of SAM in the Boston community. This is more than just a management position; it's a chance to build your own legacy within a fast-growing, innovative company.
Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow SAM's market share in the Boston area
Actively engage in networking, client presentations, and professional events to secure new large-scale land survey projects and expand our customer base
Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of project managers, surveyors, and field crews
Establish and oversee the day-to-day operations of a new Boston office, including work plans, staffing, and project delivery
Provide strategic oversight for large, complex projects, ensuring a high level of quality (QAQC) and successful delivery
- Work with Market Leads and Market Managers to establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the market area
Professional experience in the land survey or geospatial industry, with a focus on project management and leadership
Track record of winning and managing major projects
Experience in building and leading professional teams
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to present to clients and stakeholders
A Professional Survey License is preferred
