Magic Seasoning Blends is seeking energetic, detail-oriented candidates for this following position:

Job Description

The Material Handler plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials and supplies within the facility. This position is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, supporting operational needs and maintaining inventory integrity. The Material Handler collaborates closely with various departments to maintain seamless supply chain operations. By utilizing specialized equipment and warehouse management systems, the role ensures safety and accuracy in handling materials. Ultimately, this position contributes to the overall customer experience by enabling timely availability of necessary resources and supporting the smooth functioning of daily activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Unload trucks and verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries.
  • Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in the proper location, recording location of inventory.
  • Maintain and store all materials in an accurate, safe, clean, and organized manner.
  • Conduct end-of-run counts on raw materials and periodic inventories and inspections
  • Participate actively in cycle counting and physical inventory processes
  • Participate and adhere to all food safety requirements, Quality Management Processes, and site safety programs ensuring that all standards are met
  • Input and extraction of information from ERP computer system.
  • Comply with OSHA standards; Learn and adhere to FDA and GMP standards.
  • Responsible for reporting and following up on any observation that may impact associate safety and/or Product Quality and Food Safety
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places and airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

EVENING SHIFT: Regular hours: 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. M-F. Occasional Saturday work. CLOSED EVERY SUNDAY.
8 hours per day (Includes 40 minute paid lunch period).
