VDA is seeking a Marketing & Communications Associate to help drive our marketing strategy, grow brand awareness, and support digital communications. You’ll work across platforms to tell VDA’s story, generate leads, and support our position as a Top 100 Experiential Agency.
Reporting to the Senior Director Client Experience & Strategy, this is a hands-on role ideal for someone organized, creative, and ready to make an immediate impact.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage marketing campaigns to support the lead generation, brand awareness, and client engagement.
- Create content for blogs, social media, case studies, landing pages, and award submissions.
- Maintain and enhance VDA’s website (WordPress) in collaboration with Cre8 Design.
- Run email campaigns and marketing automation through MailChimp.
- Monitor performance metrics using Google Analytics, Yoast, SEMrush, and adjust strategies accordingly.
Manage VDA’s digital presence, including:
Social Media Platforms:
- Instagram/Threads
Video Platforms:
- YouTube
- Vimeo
- Oversee domain management tasks via GoDaddy.
Lead award application efforts for:
- Event Marketer
- Inc. Magazine
- Boston Business Journal
- BizBash
Supporting VDA’s recognition as a Top 100 Experiential Agency and showcasing brand partnerships.
- Develop sales tools, including one-pagers, website updates, and collaboration resources to highlight VDA’s capabilities.
- Support internal teams with marketing materials, branded assets, and project communications.
- Manage marketing tasks and workflows using Monday.com.
- Utilize Zapier to streamline automations between platforms like Monday.com and MailChimp.
- Ensure all content follows brand guidelines and reflects VDA’s voice.
- Identify new opportunities to elevate VDA’s brand and industry presence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years in marketing, communications, or digital content management.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency across platforms, including:
- MailChimp (email marketing)
- WordPress (website management)
- Google Analytics, Yoast, SEMRush (performance tracking & SEO)
- Monday.com (project management)
- Zapier (platform automations)
- Social Media tools (Facebook, Instagram/Threads, LinkedIn)
- Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop/Canva)
- Self-starter with attention to detail, creativity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive, team-oriented personality with a passion for marketing.
