Hybrid Public Funding Manager bei Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity

The Public Funding Manager collaborates with a variety of subject matter experts to prepare and submit funding applications that describe TCHFH’s value proposition. These efforts help secure sustainable public funding for the organization’s real estate development projects and support funding for its lending programs. The Public Funding Manager secures public financing in order to align TCHFH’s capacity with strategic plan goals.

Required Qualifications

Education, credentials, and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years of experience successfully securing public funding for affordable housing projects, preferable for home ownership. 
• Supervisory Experience

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

• Analytical Thinking: Breaks down raw information and undefined problems into specific, workable components that in-turn clearly identifies the issues at hand.
• Public Funding: Secures financial support for organization initiatives from government or public organizations using taxpayer funds.
• Collaboration: Works effectively with others, inside and outside the organization, to achieve shared goals.
• Communication: Delivers clear, effective communication and takes responsibility for understanding others.
• Networking: Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.
• Grant Writing: Crafts compelling grant proposals that effectively communicate an organization's goals, objectives, and strategies to a potential funding source.

Preferred Qualifications

Education, credentials, and experience:

• Graduate degree with 3+ years of experience in affordable housing project funding
