The Real Estate Sales Manager (RESM) exists to ensure that Habitat-developed homes are sold efficiently and equitably to qualified buyers, supporting TCHFH’s mission to expand access to affordable homeownership. As Habitat’s listing agent, the RESM manages the full sales process—from listing to closing—for both Habitat Buyers (who have completed training and are mortgage-ready) and qualified MLS Buyers. The RESM provides direct support to Habitat Buyers throughout the homebuying journey.

Required Qualifications
Education, credentials, and experience:
- Active MN Real Estate Agent and/or Broker’s License and required continuing education to maintain licensure.
- Minimum of three years of experience selling single family homes.
- Knowledge of the MSP seven-county metro for-sale housing market and local community amenities.
- Thorough understanding of all applicable state laws governing real estate agency and transactions, including but not limited to common interest communities, homeowner associations, and new construction.
- Proven successful experience as a licensed Real Estate Agent or Real Estate Salesperson.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively guide buyers through home search and closing processes.
- Experience working with diverse clients.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in real estate software and tools, including MLS platforms and CRM systems.

- Client Focus: Builds strong client (i.e., buyer) relationship, concentrating on how every interaction supports the client (i.e., buyer).
- Communication: Delivers clear, effective communication and takes responsibility for understanding others.
Preferred Qualifications
Education, credentials, and experience:
- Ability to obtain Broker’s license within 12 months of start date.
- Experience working with first-time home buyers.
- Experience working with common interest communities and homeowner associations.
- Experience selling homes in land trusts.
- Experience selling homes with buyer income restrictions, shared equity, public assistance with corresponding compliance requirements, and various down payment assistance programs.
