Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with the Content Lead and Sales Managers, you will help to devise and execute the go to market plan for your dedicated events;
- Generating new business through research using our extensive sister products, client communication and follow-up;
- Selling sponsorship for allocated events;
- Learning more about the brand through reading our news services in order to offer tailored products to both new and existing clients;
- Developing and maintaining contact with potential clients via email, telephone communication and face-to-face meetings;
- Creating and implementing a sales plan for products to meet sales targets;
- Pitching to clients and leads in a bespoke manner, ensuring that you always provide a high level of customer service.
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, in particular a highly professional telephone manner.
- An aptitude for working towards targets and deadlines and devising a personal strategy to hit and exceed them
- Strong organisational skills
- Is highly motivated individual able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience of using a CRM system - preference for Salesforce
- Previous experience selling within the legal or professional services market is desirable, but not essential
