Position Overview


We are hiring a Security Analyst who will be responsible for the day-to-day security operations of our firm. This role is hands-on and tactical, supporting both the technical and compliance sides of cybersecurity. You’ll be involved in monitoring threats, responding to security events, assisting with audits, and helping to maintain security tools and documentation.

This position is best suited for someone who is detail-oriented, curious, and comfortable switching between technical tasks and compliance work.

Requirements

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with SOC team to respond and triage alerts from security tools (EDR, SIEM, email filters, etc.).
  • Support external and internal client compliance audits.
  • Assist with internal audit process by gathering evidence, tracking issues, and documenting resolutions.
  • Maintain and update the firm’s risk register and track mitigation activities.
  • Collaborate with vendors to verify security control implementations and review vendor risk.
  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and publishing security policies and standards.
  • Lead the firm’s security awareness program (trainings, phishing simulations, monthly tips).
  • Summarize and share relevant threat intelligence and advisories with IT leadership.
  • Help respond to client security questionnaires and maintain reusable evidence packages.
  • Assist with configuration and monitoring of security tools like CrowdStrike, Varonis
  • Support data classification efforts and help monitor for insider risks or DLP violations.

Qualifications

  • 1–4 years of experience in information security, IT operations, or compliance.
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, tools, and frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with ticketing, logging, and security tooling.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud security tools is a plus.
  • Security-related certifications (Security+, SSCP, or similar) preferred.

Salary & Bonus Information: Salary range $80,000-95,000 based on level of experience. Eligible for discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance.
