Responsibilities
- Participate and guide the design, development, testing, implementation and on-going maintenance of new and existing applications with a focus on MEDITECH and other ancillary systems.
- Provides on-going support and maintenance of LIVE applications including direct user support (in person and/or over the phone) during posted support hours and during on-call hours.
- Acts as the liaison with other IS groups or business departments for system and interfaces troubleshooting and support.
- Perform MEDITECH user training and be available to assist as needed in system implementations.
- Strong PC skills/Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint, Project, Word and Excel.
Requirements:
- Clinical educational background is preferred, but not required.
- Minimum 3-year experience in Healthcare/Hospital.
- Should be a self-starter and able to get things done with minimal guidance.
- MEDITECH or equivalent EHR implementation and support experience in Clinical modules.
- Should have good experience working with Clinical Staff from all departments.
- Should have end user training experience.
- Experienced in EHR upgrades, testing and training.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and drive projects to completion in a complex environment.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize projects and provide prompt and thorough follow-up.
