Lead Multispecialty Clinical Operations Across Michigan with EPIC Health

Travel is required.
This senior leadership role will oversee a dynamic portfolio including:
- Laboratory Services
- Radiology & Imaging
- Cardiology
- OBGYN
- Sports Medicine
- Physical Therapy
- Pain Medicine
- Psychiatry/Behavioral Health
What You’ll Do
Operational Leadership
- Provide leadership and oversight for Laboratory, Radiology, and Specialty Service Lines across multiple Michigan locations.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize clinical workflows, staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and patient experience.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives using Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or other performance methodologies.
- Foster a high-performance, accountable team culture and mentor department managers and clinical staff.
Regulatory & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards, including CAP, CLIA/CLIA Waived, ACR, HIPAA, radiation safety, and OSHA.
- Lead preparation for audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews.
Financial Management
- Direct departmental budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize revenue streams across service lines.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with clinical leadership, IT, finance, HR, and legal teams to align operational strategies with broader organizational goals.
- Coordinate vendor management, contract negotiations, and supplier performance across departments.
Service Line Growth
- Lead operational planning for new service lines, expansions, and optimization of underperforming departments.
- Drive the development and implementation of scalable, patient-centered clinical workflows.
Additional Responsibilities
- This position will cover all Michigan locations—travel is required.
- Perform other job duties as assigned to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
What You Bring
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Clinical Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in healthcare operations.
- Demonstrated leadership in at least two of the following domains: Laboratory, Radiology, or Specialty Clinical Services.
- Strong working knowledge of clinical compliance (CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA).
- Experience in financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Athena preferred) and operational reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MPH, or related field).
- Active Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Prior experience with multi-site, multi-specialty operations.
- Proven success in launching or optimizing service lines.

Application Requirements
Applicants will be screened based on:
- Minimum 5+ years of senior operational leadership in healthcare
- Proven experience across at least four of the following: Laboratory, Radiology, Cardiology, OBGYN, Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy, Pain Management, Psychiatry/Behavioral Health
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Demonstrated familiarity with regulatory standards and healthcare accreditation
- Documented success in performance improvement or operational efficiency projects
