Position Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our Revenue Cycle Department. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, understands dental insurance billing, and is passionate about helping patients resolve their accounts with clarity and professionalism.
Responsibilities:Monitor and manage patient and insurance accounts receivablePost insurance and patient payments accuratelyFollow up on outstanding claims and unpaid balancesCommunicate with insurance companies to resolve denials or discrepanciesWork with patients to explain account balances and set up payment plansEnsure timely and accurate processing of refundsMaintain accurate records and documentation of financial transactionsCollaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth billing cycle

Requirements

 

What We are Looking For:Experience in dental or medical accounts receivable preferredKnowledge of dental insurance billing, coding, and terminology preferredExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficient in dental practice software and Microsoft Office
