SALARY: $52,440 - $57,960 based on education and experience
WORK YEAR: Full Time - 230 Days, 8 hours per day

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Early Childhood Licensing Coordinator will assist with day-to-day classroom operations and facility licensing and inspections in cooperation with program area managers. In addition, the Early Childhood Licensing Coordinator will oversee facility locations and relocations while ensuring compliance with Head Start standards, Ohio licensing rules & agency policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate or Bachelor degree preferred; or appropriate combination of education and work experience.
Knowledge of Department of Children and Youth (formerly ODE/ODJFS) classroom licensing regulations required; knowledge of Head Start standards preferred.
Willingness/ability to work as a team member.
Good organizational skills.
Demonstrate computer skills suitable to the position.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good public relations skills.
Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
History of good job attendance.
Must pass criminal background check and be free of communicable disease.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary and work year as established by the Governing Board. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non - prescribed controlled substance use in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District.

Performance of this position will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
