Supply Technician
FITT Scientific has a requirement to provide TSC Warehouse and Training support to the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization, and Security (DPTMS), providing training support services to tenants and units of the Fort Benning region. This support includes the TSC warehouse operations associated with the receipt, storage, accountability, short-term loan, long-term loan, issue, transfer, turn-in, packaging, shipment, serviceability checks, repair, preventative maintenance, Training Support-Materiel Army-wide Tracking System (TS-MATS) and Army accountability document preparation, historical digital and/or hardcopy record keeping of all standard and non-standard Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulations (TADSS) equipment and Graphics Training Aids (GTAs) associated with the mission support functions.

Job Description:
- Perform limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g. inventory management, storage management, cataloging, repair parts requisitioning and etc.) utilizing the Global Combat support System-Army (GCSS-A).
- Ensure all TADSS equipment/devices to include MILES and GTAs are issued on and all serviceability checks and maintenance work orders recorded within the Training Support-Materiel Army-wide Tracking system (TS-MATS). In the event of TS-MATS becoming inoperable, annotate and submit maintenance requests using an Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet (DA Form 2404), or Maintenance Work Order Request (DA Form 2407) and recorded using a DA Form 2405 Maintenance Request Register.
- Be well versed and proficient in maintaining digital records of email correspondence and emails containing scanned documents to outside and installation activities. Additionally, be sufficiently organized and proficient in capturing and reporting workload data, maintaining hard copy files, and reporting mission support statistics on matrixes/spreadsheets or as often as required.
- Establish and maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, materiel control, accounting, and supply reports to include shop stock, bench stock, demand analysis, orals, turn-in.
- Develop plans to manage and process management documents, access rosters, key control, and safety programs IAW applicable regulations.
- Review and verify quantities received against bills of lading, contracts, purchase requests, and shipping documents.
- Unload, unpack, visually inspect, count, segregate, palletize and store incoming supplies and equipment as required.
- Prepare production report based on Data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats and governing rules, regulations and policies
- Pack, crate, stencil, weigh, and bands equipment and supplies as required.
- Process inventory, survey, and warehousing documents.
- Perform inventories and location surveys IAW established procedures.
- Assists Supervisor and/or Lead reconciling activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status reviews.
- Operates materiel handling equipment (MHE) as required.
- Compile individual reports on current and projected work order status.
- Monitor each work order for prompt status changes. Inform Supervisor of any delays or unusual circumstances of work order requests. Schedule work based on established guidelines and priorities in accordance with governing rules, regulations, and policies.
- Calculate such factors as type and quantities of such items repaired, materials used, amount of scrap, frequency of defects, and work order and or department production rates, using GCSS-Army computers.
- Assist within the department as directed by the Manager or Supervisor.
- Maintain workstation and department area in a highly professional manner and appearance
- Performs other duties assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Prefer former Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) of a 92Yor 92A.
- Experience with Logistics Information Systems (LIS) such as Global Combat Support System Army (GCSS-A), Logistic Information Warehouse (LIW) and Unique Item Tracking (UIT).
- Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to quickly research and collect the necessary applicable data, to establish the applicable facts, and to take or recommend action based upon proven applications or interpretation of systematically established guidelines.
- Be able to pick up and movement items within a 50 lbs. restriction
- Be capable of climbing and working on equipment at 10 feet above ground limit
- Be capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Basic requirements
Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years in order to obtain and maintain CAC Card eligibility.
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 18 years of age
· Must be able to pass pre-employment and background checks related to the position
· Valid state driver's license
· GCSS Army Certified
· Must have a minimum of 2 years of related experience.
· Must be computer literate.
· Must possess good communication skills.
· Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
· Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
