About the Role
As a AVP, Software Engineering you will be part of a high-performing team of specialty professionals reporting directly to the SVP and Chief Architect. In this role, you’ll lead a talented group of pharmacy engineering leaders and software developers to drive the vision, execution, and delivery of our next-generation pharmacy and diagnostic solutions. You will champion the integration of AI into the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring quality, speed, and innovation at scale. This position will be located at our office in Dallas, Texas.
How you will make an impact:
In this role, you’ll:
- Provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for our pharmacy engineering organization, with a focus on AI-enhanced software delivery.
- Foster a culture of operational excellence, agile execution, and continuous improvement across pharmacy engineering teams.
- Partner with Product, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to deliver on XiFin’s integrated product roadmap.
- Drive adoption of intelligent tooling and processes across the SDLC from code generation to QA and monitoring.
- Oversee cross-functional development teams delivering enterprise-grade solutions using technologies like Java, .NET Framework, and Azure cloud services.
- Lead organizational design and workforce planning to align team structure with business growth.
- Build and coach high-performing engineering teams, developing the next generation of engineering leaders.
- Establish and report on KPIs related to velocity, quality, customer impact, and operational efficiency.
- Support security, compliance, and scalability standards across all products.

Skills and experience you have:
You don’t need to check every box. We will consider a combination of education and experience, including:
- One or more degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- Career track record (ideally 10+ years) of progressive software engineering experience, with dedicated time leading engineering teams in a SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated success managing multi-team engineering organizations delivering enterprise-scale software.
- Good understanding of modern cloud platforms (e.g., Azure) and how they support scalable, secure systems.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
- Deep understanding of Agile, CI/CD, cloud-native architecture, and DevSecOps practices.
- Experience working with healthcare technology or highly regulated industries is a plus.
- Willingness to travel domestically up to 15%.

Pay Transparency
At XiFiN, we believe in pay transparency and fairness. The anticipated base salary for this role is $205,000-235,000 plus potential bonus based on your experience, skills, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the selection process and may vary accordingly.
