Responsibilities:

Pillars To Success: The Store Manager's role plays a pivotal part in delivering a successful retail experience:

  • Product:
    • Maintain optimal stock levels and manage brand sell-through.
    • Ensure adequate supply levels to enhance customer satisfaction.
    • Proficiency in scheduling and inventory-tracking software.
  • Staffing:
    • Strategically manage staffing based on store traffic and trends.
    • Enforce company policies and identify in-house talent for development.
    • Delegate responsibilities to ensure efficient inventory handling.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Oversee daily dashboards and mitigate inventory issues promptly.
    • Maintain low-level shrinkage through proactive management.
  • Sales:
    • Drive team to achieve Quarterly Sales Goals and foster a strong client base.
  • Budget Management: 
    1. Often, Store Managers are responsible for managing and adhering to budgets, including sales targets, operational expenses, and payroll costs.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: 
    1. Generating regular reports on store performance metrics, analyzing sales data, and presenting insights to higher management or stakeholders.
  • Training and Development: 
    1. Developing and conducting training programs for staff, focusing on product knowledge, customer service skills, and sales techniques.
  • Visual Merchandising: 
    1. Ensuring the store layout, product displays, and overall visual aesthetics align with brand standards and appeal to the target customer base.
  • Inventory Planning and Forecasting: 
    1. Collaborating with the buying or merchandising team to forecast inventory needs, plan stock levels, and strategize promotions or sales to optimize inventory turnover.
  • Customer Relationship Management: 
    1. Nurturing relationships with repeat customers, handling escalated customer inquiries or complaints, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Safety: 
    1. Ensuring store compliance with all legal regulations, safety protocols, and company policies, including maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Adaptation to Market Trends: 
    1. Keeping abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior to adapt store strategies accordingly.
  • Duties as Assigned

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of progressive retail management experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and a proven track record of team development.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and retail software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
