The Dock Worker / Parts Picker is responsible for the shipping and receiving of all products at the dock as well as the proper bar code system location identification in the warehouse. The Dock Worker works with a variety of internal and external customers in coordinating the receiving and distribution of product.
Hourly wage range based on experience: $22 - $25 per hour

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Picks, processes, assists, and allocates parts and supplies to fulfill customer, technician, van orders, and over-the-counter orders.
- Replenish parts carousel with stock order parts received.
- Identifies the products condition and confirm receipt of supplier parts packing slips and input data into ERP system.
- Prepares, assists, and ships orders via shipping carrier processing standards, including Raymonds billing discrepancies (S-82), shipping, returns, core and warranty returns
- Follows proper shipping and receiving procedures, including utilization of Company’s barcoding system to ensure asset tracking in the warehouse.
- Utilities, loads and unloads all types of material handling equipment and assets, including all types of forklifts, cranes, industrial batteries, chargers, forklift parts and other specialty equipment from multiple types of tractor/trailers.
- Organizes, palletizes, and ships scrap batteries; waters and charges batteries for rental trucks, demo trucks, and other company assets, as needed.
- Assists with strapping, chaining, blocking, bracing, and securing equipment in OTR trailers for proper shipping; supports truck drivers as needed.
- Conducts and assesses proper damage assessments and ensures proper documentation according to the procedure for all Company assets received into building.
- Maintains extensive phone and email contact with vendors, customers, and technicians to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintains clean, safe, and organized work areas, including in the Parts Department, Shipping/Receiving, and the warehouse area.
- Follow all safety procedures and processes.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or needed as the situation dictates.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to perform simple mathematics.
- Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize work, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of computer such as keyboard, 10-key, Microsoft Office, and ERP system.
- Ability to match, sort and collate information as well as organize data.
- Ability to operate various forklifts and complete required SOTM training for the same.
- Skilled in customer relations by exchanging information with courtesy and consideration, particularly when communicating via phone, in a professional, accurate and timely manner.
- Ability to effectively communicate customer issues and concerns regarding accounts to Parts Warehouse Supervisor
- Skilled in both written and oral communications within all levels of an organization both internally and externally.
- Ability to operate various forklifts and complete required SOTM training for the same.
- Ability to perform research and utilize multiple sources to expedite orders to fill external and internal customer need
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and apply reasoning.
- Ability to read technical manuals and breakdown diagrams.
- Ability to understand how equipment is set up for shipments, labeling, logging, and counting.
Education and Experience:
This position requires a minimum of a high school diploma/GED along with a minimum of six months practical skills experience and customer service experience. Good people skills and verbal communication is necessary. Possess basic computer familiarity and knowledge.
