The Reservations Coordinator is responsible for managing bookings, providing customer service, and ensuring a seamless reservation process for hotel guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Reservations: Handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, or online booking systems. Confirm and update reservations accurately in the system.
- Customer Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing information about availability, rates, and facilities. Address inquiries and resolve booking issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordination: Liaise with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and maintain up-to-date knowledge of room statuses, rates, and promotions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate booking records and optimize table allocations or room assignments as necessary. Generate reports on booking trends and occupancy rates.
- Support Sales Team: Assist in managing bookings across multiple venues and support the sales team in achieving targets. Follow up with clients on booking confirmations and payments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality or reservations. Familiarity with reservation and booking software is essential.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Organizational Abilities: Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and booking systems is required. Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly is a plus.
