Advisory and Professional Services (A&PS) are critical to the success of our company and play a strategic role in transforming our go-to-market approach across all Geos to drive deeper relationships and relevance with our customers and partners. This requires us to focus vertically, become solutions-oriented and leverage and expand our partner ecosystem. At the same time, we need to drive industry-leading technical capability, aligned to our as-a-service workload strategy across Hybrid Cloud, Edge, AI & Data, underpinned by customer success and consumption growth.

To support the expansion of this growing business area within HPE, we are seeking a motivated Sales Executive for Advisory & Professional Services. This role requires a strong understanding of the evolving A&PS portfolio, including the features and benefits of our innovative solutions. An A&PS Sales Specialist will adopt a services-led sales approach, driving customer engagement through consultative interactions and value-based discussions to enhance long-term client relationships and business growth.

To support the expansion of this growing business area within HPE, we are seeking a motivated Sales Executive for Advisory & Professional Services. This role requires a strong understanding of the evolving A&PS portfolio, including the features and benefits of our innovative solutions. An A&PS Sales Specialist will adopt a services-led sales approach, driving customer engagement through consultative interactions and value-based discussions to enhance long-term client relationships and business growth.

We are looking for an A&PS sales specialist to:

  • Lead at the customer with broader topics such as sustainability, CIO priorities, etc. and then engage customers with HPE's specific value proposition on Hybrid Cloud, AI, Intelligent Edge.

  • Responsible for driving services sales in an assigned territory, industry, or account(s) with A&PS. Activate customer on a journey to be strategic partner in developing validated opportunities.

  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of the features and benefits of evolving solutions and how HPE solutions are differentiated from the competition.

  • Exercises deep expertise in end-to-end A&PS leveraging the HPE Hybrid Cloud portfolio and ecosystem of partners. Effectively uses references in storytelling to make complex technologies seem simple & understandable for our customers.

  • Actively generates customer interest and links business & financial benefits with technology and HPE Services. Brings a services-led approach to build stickiness through consultative engagements and financial constructs.

  • Develop new projects and solution opportunities to develop a short- and long-term sales pipeline.

  • Establish a professional working and consultative relationship with the client, including the C-level.

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of client's business, organization structure and future challenges to define and adapt a solution roadmap to fulfil this business needs.

  • Interface with both internal and external/industry experts to anticipate customer needs and facilitate solutions development.

  • Maintain knowledge of competitors in account to strategically position the company's solutions better.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise customers, translating business objectives into customized hybrid cloud solutions that drive measurable outcomes.

If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education…

  • Academic degree in an economic or technical field of study.

  • Extensive selling experience within industry and on similar solutions.

  • Typically, > 10 years of advanced sales experience.

  • Profound knowledge of the IT cloud market and proven experience in IT support, operational, managed, and technical service.

  • High winning attitude and closing skills - recognize new opportunities, generate new business and close the deal.

  • Skilled in collaboration and leading with other sales teams.

  • Reliability in building a sales pipeline, forecasting and customer management (sales excellence).

  • Distinctive customer orientation and consulting skills combined with assertiveness, mentality to challenge a customer’s status quo.

  • Excellent ability to drive and manage IT projects for enterprise customers, ensuring strategic alignment and successful execution.

  • Strong business and financial acumen, combined with very expert technology skills.

  • Team and goal-oriented work.

  • Creativity, initiative, and reliability.

  • Business fluency in Spanish and English language.
